Description

Hendricks Regional Hospital (HRH) is the premier healthcare provider in this area of the state. As part of a building and services expansion project, RDG worked with the Director of Nutrition and Dietetics, Martha Rardin, to design a new kitchen and servery for the hospital. The challenge was to design a bright and airy serving space that invited staff and patrons into a warm and customizable experience.

The kitchen incorporates efficient delivery and storage of goods through production and a state-of-the-art, well-executed room service program. The servery has an upscale look and provides space for exhibition cooking and a fresh food bar among its offerings. The end product was an open concept that allowed for easy traffic flow and ample visibility.
