Description

Our challenges here began with studying the facility and program to determine what physical and operational improvements could be made in the existing space and then determining if that was the best course of action for the hospital. Ultimately, it was decided to move out of the 1940’s space in the rear of the hospital and provide renovation services for the kitchen and new space for the servery and dining room close to the entry to the hospital. Our work involved repurposing the existing space, reusing specific food service equipment in the new space, and redefining the retail serving component of the hospital food service program.
