Description

RDG was brought on board to outfit Ivy Tech’s multi-operational space, all of which included six culinary/bakery labs, a student operated fine-dining restaurant & bar, and a student operated retail space, which included a bakery and cafe. The entire package needed to seamlessly communicatex each area, as well as house a complete catering operation and garden – used by the college for education and for producing fresh ingredients.

RDG was able to save the client well over $400,000 throughout the procurement strategy. One of the most exciting results of the project was the opportunity to help develop a deliverable aimed at supporting the college’s farm-to-fork-to-farm initiative, committed to zero food waste by using waste reduction equipment to turn the food into nitrogen-rich soil amendment used in their gardening program.
