Reitano Design Group worked with the nutrition director and architect to create a functional servery for a rapidly growing, multi-cafeteria high school located in a large suburb of Indianapolis.
The serving space was enhanced aesthetically with modern finishes and the addition of signs to highlight each of the serving lines and help direct the students to the area of their choice. Students can choose from Pizza & Pasta, Grill Zone, Mix-It-Up (a toppings bar), Fresh Bar (where sushi is also served weekly), Creation Station (made-to-order), International, and Homestyle lines.
With this remodel, serving capabilities were increased to provide a larger variety of options, the fruit and vegetable offerings were highlighted with a fresh food first concept bar and a versatile display cooking station was added.
