Hendricks Regional Hospital (HRH) is the premier healthcare provider in west-central Indiana. As part of a building and services expansion project, RDG worked with the Director of Nutrition and Dietetics, Martha Rardin, to design a new kitchen and servery for the hospital.
RDG wanted to reimagine the space for healthcare workers as well as hospital guests to create a bright, calming environment that would restore and rejuvenate the whole hospital, while they cared for others and worked long hours with little sleep.
The kitchen incorporates efficient delivery and storage of goods through production and a state-of-the-art, well-executed room service program. The servery has an upscale look and provides space for exhibition cooking and a fresh food bar among its offerings.
